Abstract
The right to trust in God for the future of Catholic hospitals depends on that ministry's being rooted in the faith vision of all reality, on its being a valid ministry of the Church in contemporary society, and on its using every possible human means to effect its success. The hospital ministry must find answers to hard questions regarding how to fulfill these conditions; but, while seeking the answers, those involved in the hospital ministry must find comfort in the fundamental peace which lies at the bottom of Christian hearts.
