Abstract
Topic: Therapeutic uses of adolescent trauma group psychotherapy for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder. Purpose: To demonstrate the role of the psychiatric nurselgroup facilitator to prevent and treat adolescent emotional distress resulting from trauma. Sources: Published 1iterature, author S clinical experience. Conclusions: Adolescent trauma group therapy is useful to deal with emotional, behavioral, maturationalldevelopmental, physiological, cognitive, and solution-focused issues.
